6 Days Tanzania Budget Camping Safari (Manyara – Serengeti – Ngorongoro)
Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara
Depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drive through forests, swamps, and lake shore. Overnight at a public campsite near the park.
Day 2: Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel to Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive in time for lunch and a sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight at Seronera campsite.
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti
Explore the Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. Spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and possibly witness the Great Migration. Overnight at the same campsite.
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Early game drive, then depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro rim, stopping at Olduvai Gorge (optional). Overnight at Simba Campsite overlooking the crater.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Explore the caldera filled with rich wildlife. Return to camp for overnight.
Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha
After breakfast, return to Arusha with optional souvenir shopping en route. Arrive by early afternoon.
